My blog is 4 years old | blogiversary giveaways

Well, at the end of August my blog turned 4.  It’s still a toddler compared to many but when I published my very first post back in August 2013, I really had no idea that I would still be doing this 4 years later and more so, I really never thought that anyone would read my posts apart from me!  During this time my blog has moved from Blogspot to WordPress and one of my biggest moments was buying my own domain name in 2016.  There have been ups and downs – I’ve suffered from the dreaded ‘blogger burnout’ on occasions and at times my reading mojo has gone AWOL but the positives outweigh all the negatives and I still love my blog as much as ever.  The biggest thrill of all, however, is receiving a message from someone who has bought a book after reading my review.

One of the many positives to blogging is the wonderfully supportive book blogging community;  they are generous with their advice, share your posts and generally give you a virtual ((hug)) when you think everything is poop.  And not forgetting of course the authors and publishers who give their support by sending books to review and invites to some fabulous book launches and events. To everyone  – and especially to the readers of this blog – THANK YOU!

I have two giveaways to celebrate my 4th birthday.

I hope you are going to like this. In conjunction with Jules at @bookbuddle the winner of this giveaway can choose a buddle of their own fabric choice (subject to availability).  There are two sizes  – this giveaway is for the smallest, which will house a normal sized paperback.

I love these and have two buddles of my own. Just to give an idea of the sizing here are mine (and no these are not in the giveaway!! 🙂 ). The one on the left is suitable for a paperback and the larger one on the right can house a hardback/large paperback.

Sorry but for postage costs the bookbuddle giveaway is open to UK entrants only however I do have another giveaway which will be open internationally.

The second giveaway is for an Amazon gift card to the value of £15 (British Pounds).  This will be open internationally so the currency amount may differ depending on location.

The small print.  Please read before entering the giveaways

  • For the bookbuddle giveaway, I will pass the winner’s name and email address on to Jules at Bookbuddle and you can liaise with each over over fabric design and postal addresses.  The buddle and UK postage will be prepaid so all you have to do is choose your design and wait for it to drop through the door!
  • For the Amazon Gift Card, the winner must hold an Amazon account and provide me with the email address associated to that account.
  • For both giveaways, the winners will have 72 hours to provide me with contact information after being notified.  After this time I reserve the right to pick another winner instead.
  • Please feel free to enter both giveaways however to keep it fair you can only win one.
