GOODREADSI was delighted to receive an invite from SJV of Simon & Schuster’s @TeamBATC to the launch for Our House. The launch was last Thursday 5 April, at Hatchards book shop in Piccadilly, just up the road from Waterstones. Although I’ve been to Waterstones so many times my feet could find their own way there, this was my first time in Hatchards and what a lovely bookshop it is. Very traditional in style inside and definitely one to re-visit when I have more time.
I had met Louise briefly a couple of weeks before at the S&S Spring Blogger Event but it was lovely to see her again and catch up with a few other blogger friends that I rarely get to see.
I didn’t take many photos and there are no selfies (thankfully!) but here are just a few pics – and of course I couldn’t come home without buying a signed book!
It seems like a great event and its wonderful that you got a signed copy. I have seen a few reviews of the book, sounds like a really interesting read so I hope that you will enjoy it. Great post!
thank you Diana, it was a lovely evening. I’ve had a proof of the book for a while but haven’t been able to get to it because of other review commitments. I’m desperate to read it! 🙂
