2024 Audio Book Challenge #2024AudiobookChallenge

After seeing this sign up on Nicki’s Secret Library Book Blog it looked a fun challenge and I thought I’d give it a go. I’ve had an Audible membership for a while but don’t really make the most of it so this seems a good way of using my credits and clearing some of the titles I already have. It’s run by Caffeinated Reviewer and That’s What I’m Talking About. I’ve added my sign up details and am ready to go.

CHALLENGE DETAILS

🎧 Use hashtag #2024AudiobookChallenge on social media to alert others of your listens and progress!

🎧 Runs January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024. You can join at any time.

🎧 The goal is to find a new love for audio or to outdo yourself by listening to more audios in 2024 than you did in 2023.

🎧 Books must be in audio format (CD, MP3, etc.)

🎧 ANY genres count.

🎧 Re-reads and crossovers from other reading challenges are allowed.

🎧 You do not have to be a book blogger to participate; you can track your progress on Goodreads, Facebook, LibraryThing, etc. I recommend creating a shelf on Goodreads titled 2023 Audiobook Challenge. You can keep track and link the shelf.

🎧 If you’re a blogger grab the button and do a quick post about the challenge to help spread the word. If you’re not a blogger you can help by posting on Facebook or Tweet about the challenge.

🎧 Updates plus a giveaway will be posted twice during the year. The first update will be July 6th 2024, and the last update will take place on December 28 2024.

🎧 Binge Listener (Why read when someone can do it for you) 20-30

🎧 My Precious (I had my earbuds surgically implanted) 30+

🎧 Marathoner (Look Ma No Hands) 50+

🎧 The 100 Club (Audiobook Elite) 100+

🎧 I Can’t Hear You (earbuds always in) 125-150

🎧 Audibly Addicted ( listening to all the books 24/7) 150+

I was thinking of starting with Newbie but as I listened to more than five audio books last year, I’m going for Weekend Warrior. I’d hope to smash the 10 books but…life happens!
